Hereinafter referred to as “APPEARANCE”, "us" or ”we”, and applies to customers and users of our online services, meaning the APPEARANCESHOP.COM website, our mobile website and our mobile application.
If you are applying for a position at APPEARANCE this policy is not applicable.
APPEARANCE works to ensure that your privacy is protected when using our online services. We therefore have a policy setting out how your personal data will be processed and protected in accordance with applicable Danish legislation.

WHO HAS ACCESS TO THE DATA?
We never pass on, sell or swap your data to third parties for marketing purposes outside APPEARANCE. Data that is forwarded to third parties, for example shipping agents in connection with the delivery of goods, is only used to meet APPEARANCE’s commitments to you.
APPEARANCE may also supply your personal details to organisations such as credit reference or debt collection agencies for the purpose of credit rating checks, identity checks and debt collection.
Your persona infomations may also be transferred to the U.S. in some cases (newsletter platform). The commission has decided that the safety level is adequate.
HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR DATA?
We have taken technical and organisational measures to protect your data from loss, manipulation, unauthorized access, etc. We continually adapt our security measures in line with technological progress and developments. At APPEARANCE we protect your data using encryption. Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is a function that encrypts all information sent between buyer and seller.

To make card purchases with us as secure as possible, all information is sent in encrypted form using SSL. This means that the information is passed through a secure connection in which external parties cannot read your card details.
For card purchases we work with an authorized payment agent that helps us to check directly with your bank that the card is valid for purchases. Our payment agent processes your card details in the correct way according to the international security standard PCI DSS, which was developed by the card companies VISA and MasterCard. This means that your card details are processed with a very high level of security.
When you pay by card, we reserve the right to carry out an identity check.
In addition to your right of withdrawal, you may be covered by a statutory guarantee of conformity for goods in case of defects, delayed delivery and/or products that do not fit the purchase order, as provided in the Danish Sales of Goods Act (“Købeloven”) or similar legislation in the country where delivery is made.
